Hi!!! :) I’m Jen Merlo and thanks so much for stopping by!! Photography has been my absolute passion for the last +26 years and I absolutely love photographing weddings and special family time.
My photography style is VIBRANT, COLORFUL and full of LIFE. My amazing clients tell me time and time again how much they love the way I capture the special moments, looks, emotion, fun, and spirit of each wedding and family I photograph. I love to capture the classic moments AND I also LOVE to capture all of the candid moments. These usually turn out to be my clients’s favorites . . . I’m sneaky like that :)
My style is fun, genuine and thoughtful. We have a blast during weddings and family sessions are full of play. I love putting my clients at ease and showing them just how gorgeous they and these moments truly are.

Family Photography Sound Beach Petite Sessions!!!
Saturday, September 20, 2025 and Wednesday, September 24, 2025
Includes a 15-minute Petite Photography Session at a soundside beach (public) and private dock in Morehead City and 10 professionally edited, high resolution digital images delivered in an online gallery in 3 to 5 business days!
You pick your favorite 10 digital image (included!) and additional images will be available for purchase. This is great for Holiday cards or family newsletters!!
Limit is 8 family or friends! Additional people are welcomed for a small fee of $25/pp, up to 12. Please note that infants and pets are WELCOMED and will not count towards your number!
Parking is available on site. Outdoor covered lounge area and light refreshments will be available!
In case of inclement weather during your registered session time, you will have the option to either register for the rain date(s) or receive a full refund, minus any credit card fees (if applicable).

Engagement Photography Quick Video Peeks
I hope you LOVE this video of Naomi and Paul’s Engagement Photo Session!! The winter scenery is GORGEOUS in Eastern North Carolina and those sunset shots were incredible. We were having such a blast we continued the shoot from Beaufort and Beaufort Hotel all the way to the beach and Fort Macon State Park :)
Enjoy this video with a few peeks from Alexis and Nick’s Engagement Photo Session!! It was a very cold February day at the beach and Fort Macon State Park! I brought along hand warmers, blankets, and hot chocolate but these two warmed right up!! :)
